Congratulations to Nicole Kent riding Hazel De Boise on their triple win in the Scottsdale Arabian Non Pro, Intermediate Non Pro, and Limited Non Pro Derby. “She is a little mare with a lot of heart. She really tries hard for you.” said Nicole right after her ride. “I was nervous leading up to the Derby because I knew there were some really nice horses to beat.” Nicole and Hazel drew up second in the class and braved the rare chilly Arizona morning to run pattern 9. The judges had been pretty tough, as they were all week, but she was the best horse that morning.
Hazel De Boise is a 2007 purebred Arabian mare by Vaguely Noble (*Muscat) and out of Keen De Gargassan, she was bred by Ann McGregor of the Lucky Run Arena in Kuna, Idaho and started and trained by Nathan Kent.
